Federal Renewal Community Tax Incentives

Breathitt, Lee, Owsley and Wolfe Counties are designated a Federal Renewal Community by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Businesses located within this four-county region are eligible for a substantial package of federal tax credits and deductions designed to encourage business investment and the creation of jobs. Businesses can use the RC/EZ/EC Address Locator System online to get confirmation of whether ot not an employee qualified for the Renewal Community wage credits.
